Bedford Hills Fire Department

The Bedford Hills Fire Department was formed on February 4, 1903. We are  "Professionally Staffed" by volunteers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department has over one hundred volunteers who are led by three chiefs. We respond to a multitude calls for service from the public including but not limited to: fire alarms, motor vehicle fires and accidents, smoke investigations, and specialized rescue operations.

In addition to responding to calls for service, we provide Fire Prevention education to all schools and organizations in the Bedford Hills Fire District and spend numerous hours keeping our skills and education up to current standards.

The Bedford Hills Fire Department proudly supports the Bedford Hills Little League, Bedford Hills Swim Team and the Fox Lane Freshman Football Team by sponsoring theses organizations on an annual basis.

We thank the community for their ongoing support and always welcome volunteers. Stop by the fire department on any Monday night to speak with us about how you can help serve your neighbors by volunteering with the Bedford Hills Fire Department.
