As one of the 46,000 Lions Clubs world-wide, The Lions Club of Bedford Hills shares in the commitment to service of our 1.35 million brother and sister Lions who “do whatever is needed” in our local communities.
One of Bedford's strengths has always been its community organizations.
On December 2nd - the Tuesday after Thanksgiving -- people all over the globe will join together to give back under a movement called #GivingTuesday.
As a member of several groups and boards in Bedford Hills, I wanted a way to support our local groups and inspire others to do so as well, so I built this website to help Bedford Hills give locally.

From Luke Vander Linden, organizer of #GivingTuesdayBedfordHills:
Founded in 1915, the Bedford Hills Free Library is the smallest of Bedford’s three libraries and is one of the jewels of our small hamlet, where our librarians know their patrons and their needs.
The BHNA was founded in 2006 in an effort to improve the quality of life and work in our charming hamlet through community-based events.
BHFD's over one hundred volunteers respond to a multitude calls for service from the public including fire alarms, motor vehicle fires and accidents, smoke investigations, and specialized rescue operations.
Since the Community Center first opened its doors in 1992, it has been providing food, clothing and services to those in need free of charge.
